NEW: Teens who beat 17-year-old Jonathan Lewis to de*th in Las Vegas will not be charged as adults after they agreed to plead guilty to voluntary mansl*ughter.

The thugs were initially charged with second-degree m*rder and conspiracy.

"This negotiation enables my client to graduate high school, move on with his life, and become a productive citizen," a defense lawyer said.

The lawyer said he would be requesting his client be released from custody with credit for time already served.

Lewis’ mother says she is "dumbfounded" by the decision, says the Clark County DA office told her the teens would plead guilty to m*rder in the adult court system.
