On the night of August 3, drones attacked Morozovsk in the Rostov region. Preliminary reports suggest that the drones struck a military airfield, according to Russian Telegram channels.

Following the incident, Governor Vasily Golubev reported that as a result of the massive drone attack on the Rostov region, warehouse facilities in the Kamensky and Morozovsky districts were damaged.

"Emergency services are working to extinguish the fires. Information on casualties is being confirmed," he added.

Russian channels note that Morozovsk hosts a military airfield, and according to residents, the explosions were heard specifically in that area.

Channels speculate that the detonation suggests a munitions storage facility is burning. There were also reports of explosions in Millerovo, which is likely due to air defense systems.

Later, Russian channels again reported explosions in Morozovsk. Drones hit an oil depot and the Morozovsk military airfield, where Su-34, Su-35 and Su-30 aircraft are reportedly based.
