Поводом десетогодишњице НАТО агресије на Савезну Републику Југославију и српски народ 24. марта 2009. одржана је национална академија "Србијо, памти" у препуном београдском Центру Сава.

Деветнаест земаља тадашњег НАТО-a је напало Србију 24. марта 1999. Агресија је трајала седамдесет осам дана до 10. јуна 1999. године. Погинуло је више од 3.500 људи, а рањено више 10.000. Изазвана је огромна материјална штета која се процењује на десетине милијарди долара. Уништене су 7.643 куће, 300 школа, 53 болнице, 50 цркава, 37 мостова као и многобројни други цивилни и војни инфраструктурни објекти. И данас, десет година касније после бомбардовања, сви видимо и осећамо многобројне последице. Многе рушевине и даље стоје. Пораст малигних болести од 1999. године, износи преко 40%.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the NATO aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Serbian people on March 24, 2009, the national academy "Serbia, remember" was held in the crowded Sava Center in Belgrade.

Nineteen countries of the then NATO attacked Serbia on March 24, 1999. The aggression lasted seventy-eight days until June 10, 1999. More than 3,500 people died, and more than 10,000 were wounded. Huge material damage was caused, which is estimated at tens of billions of dollars. 7,643 houses, 300 schools, 53 hospitals, 50 churches, 37 bridges and numerous other civil and military infrastructure facilities were destroyed. Even today, ten years later after the bombing, we all see and feel the many consequences. Many ruins still stand. The increase in malignant diseases since 1999 is over 40%. A large number of destroyed factories were never rebuilt, and all of us, both citizens and the state, are much poorer than we would have been if the aggression had not occurred.
