Apatros Review Ep-0090: Year Zero: War in Space [1977]

AR-0090: The first of Alfonso Brescia's four-string of bad el cheeso post-Star Wars Italian space operas [& the second & last one I'm covering here], this is an extremely dry and dull tale of a futuristic space crew sent to investigate a mysterious source of alien-generated classical music radio station in deep space, only to come across the last survivors of a doomed race, slaves to their evil deity - a malevolent computer that wants to take over humanity as well and also the ability to bodyjack organic beings as demonstrated in the climax.

Not quite the same grade of stinkiness as Brescia's later [& more infamous] "The War of The Robots" but very, very close. If it wasn't so dull it would have been somewhat passable due to the surprisingly relevant storyline.

My Grade: D [Bad]
