Israel made two bold moves in recent days: the assassinations of Hezbollah chief Fuad Shukr in Beirut and of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Teheran. This doubtlessly changed the game: it goes a long way to reestablishing deterrence, but can also lead, some warn, to a full scale regional war.
