“Sir, I Have No Man” (John 5)

Our chronological Scripture reading brings us today to John 5 and the healing of the crippled man who stayed by the Pool of Bethesda. Seeing the man, Christ healed him and started a controversy among the Pharisees. They accused Jesus of breaking the Sabbath (though it was not the Law, but their interpretation of the Law He violated).
