A college student asked Vivek this week why he decided not to join the other candidates in the race last year in criticizing Trump. Here’s what he said:

“I’m not in this race to score political points by attacking others. My focus is on bringing real solutions to the table, not engaging in petty squabbles. Trump did many things right, and I’m here to build on that, not tear it down. Criticizing him for the sake of it helps no one, least of all the American people.”

It’s refreshing to see a candidate who’s focused on solutions rather than cheap shots. We need more of this kind of leadership in politics today.
