Today we look at the links between poor lifestyle habits, diagnoses of chronic diseases, the high costs of pharmaceutical drugs (that don't work to suppress the disease), expensive diagnostics and medical procedures, and ultimately premature death from many preventable diseases. This cycle is the cause of 62% of bankruptcies in the U.S. We must ask whether we should be planning to keep our bodies out of this system in the first place.
