Brazil: Henrique-President of CONPLEI discussed Bible translation conferences. Part of the Corina family, my wife and our son Eliel came today from Chapada dos Guimarães, Mato Grosso do Sul, to Campo Grande, MS, where we have been helping the TIB Indigenous Bible Translators project since July 7th. One of CONPLEI's projects. Over the course of these days, eleven ethnic groups have been working on translating the book of Nehemiah into their own language. It was an incredible moment to see God's engine in the training of these indigenous brothers and sisters working in the egex to write complex but excellent texts. Excellent facilitators and teachers who performed each class with skill. This is our team of coordinators. Professor Edson Bakairi and his wife Terezinha, PR Paulo Nunes and his wife Bethânia, and why not remember Professor Daniel and Julie Snyder, who with their son Will brought young people from their church in the USA who served with great dedication together with our son Eliel in cleaning and photography. Only the Lord God can reward each one. Corina and I are also ready to serve behind the scenes. This is CONPLEI, one of the largest evangelical indigenous movements in Brazil. All honor and glory to God. This was the last class and it ended with a graduation ceremony, a different kind of graduation being done our way. Transculturally relevant. The next class will be in 2026. But it's already right there. New translators but in the same vein as always. Thanks also to SAM/SAIM South Americamission and AMI for providing the entire structure for the course. I'll finish speaking. Glory to God.
