I highlight the controversial election in Venezuela and the U.S. involvement in denouncing Nicolás Maduro's government while drawing parallels to the U.S. political system.

Then finally, I speak about the new laws in Louisiana. One law mandate surgical castration for convicted child sex offenders, which the speaker supports despite its controversial nature. The second law, often referred to as the "Don't Say Gay" bill, prevents teachers from discussing gender identity and sexual orientation in schools.
