4 - 2024 - Factorio Hours 4-6

This video covers hours 4-6 of this game series. In the previous video we spent considerable time designing a bus line for production and defining a place for oil production. We are going to use a lot of landfill to set up the oil production site. When learning the mechanics of the game, it is important to plan and lay out a good foundation to build upon. Power transmission lines are placed to create a temporary power grid in the early game prior to more advanced power transmission lines. We work on setting up the beginnings of a robust power infrastructure that can be expanded when the time comes. We develop a better steam power generation design blueprint with a steam buffer. Continued working through some of the tech tree and took out a few more biter nests.
