1 - 2024 - Factorio Introduction

This is my first tutorial type video for the game Factorio. This video series was started in July 2024 prior to the Factorio 2.0 and DLC release. I wanted to make a slowed down version of how to play the game. I noticed many new players out there become overwhelmed with the game and some reach levels of anxiety while dealing with the divided attention that this game requires. Although I do not possess strong skills in mathematics and do not work in the IT field or game development, I wanted to show you that this can be done by investing time in the game with a certain amount of slow strategy. This video series will be a little longer than most videos out there. The biters have been limited in the game and are not allowed to evolve. I did this to focus more on the mechanics of the game and still be able to use military applications when it is available. My hope is that this video series can help new players to the game get started.
