Igor & Krinkles are Snow Dogs who truly enjoy the snowy season

Igor & Krinkles enjoying themselves in 14"+ of snow back in Winter 2018. Krinkles has a disadvantage here,being so low profile & prefers to stay on the periphery. Igor tries to goad the Speed bump into the fray with varying degrees of success. Igor however powers thru the big drifts as if they were non-existent. Anyone with a Big Dog-& Igor's Big for a Great Dane (190lb or so) - will tell you that you get accustomed to things they do which others would marvel at with equal parts incredulity & standoffishness. But watching Igor destroy those foot & a half drifts as if it was a dusting of flurries was truly impressive and in person quite an amazing event. When he got in the house he wasn't even breathing hard, just smiling wanting more action. I could've left him out there all day long!
Great Danes are wonderful dogs and I often tell people -"If you love, really &truly love dogs, and have the time and space - get a Great Dane or a Dane mix because their personalities are fantastic. You'll laugh so hard at them and the love they give is proportional to their massive size. It's unfortunate they don't live as long as other breeds but the time you get is priceless. All of our other dogs are rescues, or pre-rescues(people in the neighborhood know how I take care of dogs,& give me theirs before it goes into the shelter or give me dogs from family/friends before they hit the shelter) and I'm big on Adopt/Don't shop. The last 2 dogs I've purchased were Great Danes (1994&2017). And Danes allegedly repel ghosts, which is why Scooby Doo is a big ol Dane!
