Two NYPD sergeants were reportedly shot after a police chase in New York City, law enforcement sources told FOX 5 NY.

The shooting unfolded on Canal Street near Eldridge Street, on Manhattan's Lower East Side, where police were responding to a robbery call, according to sources.
One officer was shot in the leg, the other in the groin, according to sources. Both officers were taken to Bellevue Hospital and are expected to be OK, sources said.
