Paris mayor honors Ukrainian athletes with Grand Vermeil Medal

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo recognized Ukrainian Olympic athletes' bravery and perseverance by awarding rower Anastasiya Kozhenkova and diver Oleksiy Serena with the Grand Vermeil medal, the highest distinction given by the city. Kozenkhova, who lamented the difficult training conditions for rowers, said "the fact that we are competing here now, trying to fight for everyone, amidst what is happening now in the country, what kind of emotions do we feel? Honestly, I think we are already winners.”
