There’s definitely a march towards more of a digital infrastructure !!

With less physical ways of doing transactions.

I’ve noticed and sure others have noticed manned tills have become less over time and self service till are becoming poignant in the shopping environments !!

Also extra barriers in some supermarkets !!

Supermarkets serve most of our food needs here in the UK ( supermarkets hold a monopoly on our food supply)

There seems to be a slow build or tip toe towards Smart supermarkets !!!

In capitalism it’s supposed to be all about reducing cost and maximise profit. With all this tech equipment they are wiping out profits to the tune of millions pounds to make this set up possible !!

They don’t seem to be bothered to spent extra on this tech infrastructure

They give it these clever marketing names for example GET GO
QUICK SIMPLE EASY
GET GO which means we are doing it ourselves !!

So because of these computer systems more people will be out of a job.

Artificial intelligence that will watch your move in these smart supermarkets it figures out what you bought and bills you directly as you walk out !!

First you download a app, then you have to scan a QR code to enter the supermarket.

Train station barrier gates at access points to prevent people who don’t have the app from entering the shop.

The old phrase we used to say in Britain is the customer is always right !!
CEOs and media campaigns are always right now !!!

What if I don’t want to enter though the barriers with an app on the phone

The media and big business like to put words in peoples mouths and also speak on our behalf !!

They say we are time pressed, easy frustrated people crying out for a better hassle free shopping experience.

Face scanning also !!

What they have actually done is make us checkout our own food for no payment

I thought we live in a free market !!!!

Who has the power card if

Somehow I don’t think all this tech is putting power in people hands !!!

Because they have reduced manned tills they have pushed you into self service tills

Even Elon Musk says the artificial intelligence is summing the demon

All this talk about Mars I guess takes our eyes away from what’s going on here on Earth

Also another section of society that’s heavy monitored is cars

What I think is self service are a half way house

Where they want to get us to is smart supermarkets

This game of control with the people they are playing whist trying not show their hand

Are the big business, media and politicians really listening to the people or is it just bread and circuses to distract us !!

I believe we need to keep an eye on this stuff !!
