03 subaru wrx engine pull and teardown due ringland failure

Have to pull the engine due to power loss and smoke out the exhaust was thinking it was ringland failure but could be something else so we are going to tear the engine apart and find out what is wrong and later build a 2.5 closed deck and port the oem heads.
