A bird disturbing a cat

A curious bird fluttered around the lounging cat, its vibrant feathers flashing in the sunlight. The cat, initially unfazed, flicked its tail lazily, watching the bird with half-closed eyes. The bird, undeterred by the feline's disinterest, hopped closer, chirping loudly and pecking at the ground near the cat’s paws. Annoyed, the cat swatted a paw in the bird’s direction, missing it by inches. The bird, emboldened, darted around the cat's head, flapping its wings in a playful dance. The cat, finally roused from its nap, sprang to its feet, glaring as the bird took to the sky, victorious.
