What happened to the plane? Traveled to Merida Yucatan Mexico. Stayed at the Grand Hotel Merida

We traveled to Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, from DFW. We started our day by checking into the Grand Hotel Merida. After that, we found a quaint little store to explore until our double-decker bus ride around the city's historic side. The historic haciendas and shops were really cool to see. The low-lying branches and telephone wires made it more exciting for anyone over 5' 11".
