Delhi on Red Alert: Roads Flooded, Flights Delayed, Schools Shut, 2 Dead in Heavy Rains

In India's capital Delhi, heavy rains and severe waterlogging brought the life of people to a standstill. Two people were killed and two were reported injured in rain-related incidents in Delhi. A mother-son duo drowned in a waterlogged drain. At least 10 flights to Delhi were diverted to Jaipur and Lucknow cities. Some weather stations recorded over 100 millimeters of rainfall which is often known as a cloudburst situation. Officials have forecasted continued rainfall till the 5th of August.
