Wade Holt: The Convention of States

Self identified Governor of Vermont and 2024 candidate Kevin Hoyt interviews Wade Holt about the Convention of States. The two review policy, term limits and Kevin's plans for Vermont.

Wade Holt is the author of “Benevolence, An Apologetic on the Use of Church Funds for the Needy.” He is a Christian and a conservative American citizen. He is a part-time preacher and teacher. He currently resides in Vermont.

While not a professional writer, he is concerned about both the future of America and the future of the church. He, like many other Americans, believes that it is time for a change in Washington, D.C.

Mark Twain once wrote, “Politicians are like diapers. They need to be changed often, and for the same reasons.”

It has been said there are two things you never discuss in public: politics and religion. Holt disagrees with this statement. This belief has been very effective in silencing people from having an open and honest dialogue about what is going on with current events.

Politicians count on our apathy and our silence. They no longer fear the people. It is time for the American public to get involved, take a stand, and end the foolishness that is going on in Washington.

Holt was never a political activist. However, he believes we are on the verge of losing our republic. It is time for everyone to get involved. That is why he wrote this book. He wants to lead by example. There is something we all can do. It can be as simple as voting and talking to our friends and family. Attend school board meetings and find out what your child is being taught; It will shock you. Silence is not an option. Lastly, we can all pray to God asking Him for strength and guidance.
