6 Things God Hates

The God of the Bible hates six things, as listed in Proverbs 6:16-19

1. Haughty eyes - This signifies arrogance and pride, looking down on others with a superior attitude.
2. A lying tongue - God despises dishonesty and falsehood, valuing truth and integrity.
3. Hands that shed innocent blood - This condemns acts of violence, murder, and harming the innocent.
4. A heart that devises wicked schemes - God opposes those who plan and plot evil actions or mischief.
5. Feet that are quick to rush into evil - This indicates a readiness and eagerness to engage in sinful behavior or wrongdoing.
6. A false witness who pours out lies - Bearing false testimony and spreading untruths are abhorred by God.

Additionally, there is a seventh: a person who stirs up conflict in the community, which underscores God's emphasis on peace, harmony, and unity among people. This verse highlights the importance of righteousness and moral integrity in God's eyes.
