This is from the Cave of Treasures:
https://sacred-texts.com/chr/bct/bct04.htm

The name 'Cave of Treasures' refers in the first instance to the place where the biblical primal couple Adam and Eve stored certain relics they took with them from Paradise after their expulsion. This place is real. What they found -included hundreds of mace heads, dozens of scepters, and several enigmatic objects, such as the "crowns." Most of the objects were made of copper, with a few made of ivory or stone. The "Cave of the Treasure" is located on a cliff in a canyon that descends through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea, some 10 km. southwest of Ein-Gedi. This is an extremely hot, dry region which helped to preserve the archeological finds. This text is attributed to Ephrem the Syrian, who was born at Nisibis soon after AD 306 and died in 373, but it is now generally believed that its current form is 6th century or newer. The assertion that the Cave of Treasures was written in the 4th century was supported by the general contents of the work. This book is considered 'pseudepigraphical' (this book was not written by adam nor eve themselves, but by someone else)

--Of course, it is important to note that MANY stories get passed down ORALLY- through traditions & family lines. The actual authenticity of this story - although heavily debated, shouldn't be completely undermined because of its pseudepigraphical nature.
