Oak Folding Chair

I had some oak sitting around the garage and I thought it would be fun to make a folding chair based on a cheap one I bought. It turned out to be a fun project to grow skills because there's a lot of moving parts (literally). I used an oak dowel for the seat axle but I think I'll replace it with threaded rod or some other type of metal axle for added strength.
