A View with Infinite Possibilities

At one time or another, we all have been enveloped by burdens and worries that consume our minds. We all have been in that place where we can't see a way out or a solution or a positive outcome. We get so focused on the issue in front of us that we forget to look up. This focus causes worry, anxiety, stress, depression, and discouragement. Apostle Paul teaches us to refocus in Colossians 3:1-2,

"Since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."

When we set our focus upward - towards at the sky and the heavens above - we can see infinitely. The definition of infinite is: "limitless or endless in space, extent, or size; impossible to measure or calculate". However, when we look downward, we can only see the ground. Or when we look to the side or in front, we can only see so far before there's obstructions in the way of our view. Our view is finite. The definition of finite is: "having limits or bounds".

As humans in a finite world, we can so easily box ourselves in with cares and worries which obstruct our view of the infinity of heaven and the infinite possibilities provided by our Heavenly Father.

When we look towards the infinite, we can see the victory, the miracles and the promises of God to take away our worries, to resolve problems, to heal bodies, to mend relationships, to provide for our needs and to help & rescue us.

Our Lord assures us in Isaiah 41:10,

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Where we see no way in the finite, God makes a way when we look to Him, our Father of infinite love, infinite mercy, infinite faithfulness, infinite wisdom, infinite peace, infinite joy, infinite answers.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 19:26,

"With God ALL things are possible." He didn't say "some things are possible", he said "All things are possible". Our God is limitless.

So when we find ourselves boxed in with the cares of this world, let us immediately change our view from the finite to the infinite. Let us look up to the heavens where our Lord and Savior is seated at the right hand of our loving Father. Only there do we have a view with infinite possibilities, promises and miracles.
