The United States just launched a new military command in Japan, with the intent of countering threats from the Chinese Communist Party. This is happening alongside similar actions, such as the United States upgrading military bases in Australia, deploying new missile systems to the Philippines, and others. Among Asian partners, and with NATO partners in Europe, it appears that many countries are shifting focus to growing threats from the Chinese Communist Party, in what looks like a new Asia pivot.
