Sahar al-Badri, a survivor from Gaza City, recounts fleeing heavy nighttime strikes with her family. As they left their home, military vehicles approached, shooting her mother in the leg and later killing her with over ten bullets. Sahar's sister Suha went back to save their mother but was also shot. Sahar, her sister Samah, and her children hid under rubble for over two hours while calling for help. Sahar's brother Ahmad was killed when he came to check on their mother. After the Israeli forces withdrew, they found the bodies of their family members on the streets. Sahar questions why civilians were targeted and prays for the war to end.
