Doctor Who Announces Spin-Off in the Face of Disney CANCELLATION!

The fate of Doctor Who hangs in the balance with Ncuti Gatwa undecided about coming back after the 15th Series and Disney looking to get out of the deal, so now is the time to announce a new limited series to expand the Whoniverse according to Russell T. Davies!

Alongside a trailer for the upcoming Christmas Special, Joy to the World, RTD announced at San Diego Comic Con that The War Between the Land and Sea would be the first new story told in the expanded Doctor Who universe under his stewardship. Considering the awful ratings and poor word of mouth for the series, the optimism is at an all-time low for the series and the odds this show or the 15th season proper saves the long running franchise are slim to none.
