Danish experts: The current crisis encourages the Eastern EU nations to look for their own solutions

Rasmus Sorensen and Zlatko Jovanovic from the Democracy in Europe Organization spoke to Cross-border Talks' Vladimir Mitev about Denmark's recent referendum, which approved Copenhagen's joining the EU defense politics and about its opposition to the change of EU treaties. Rasmus said that in the current security crisis there is a crisis that every nation in the EU looks for its own solutions - and that could be valid for Bulgaria's possible efforts to renew the natural gas deliveries from Gazprom via Turkey. Both Rasmus and Zlatko also commented on the ideas of mini-Schengen in the Western Balkans and between Romania and Bulgaria, saying that the initiative could have both positive and negative sides.
