Thousands protest in Venezuela as anger grows over election

Venezuela's opposition said on Tuesday (July 30) their candidate Edmundo Gonzalez had more than twice as many votes as President Nicolas Maduro in Sunday's election, based on the 90% of vote tallies it has been able to access, as thousands of his supporters took to the streets to reject Maduro's claim that he won.
