Thousands of protesters took to the streets of the #American capital to demand that the government stop funding #Israeli aggression in Gaza and arrest Netanyahu during his visit to Washington.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu derided those protesting the war in Gaza, gesturing to demonstrations happening as he spoke on the streets outside the #US Capitol, as ‘useful idiots’ for Israel’s adversaries.

Thousands of angry protesters descended on #Washington #DC for a protest in and around the Capitol… stop us if you’ve heard this one before. But unlike January 6, 2020, the July 24, 2024 protests were about Gaza, and they turned violent. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in Washington asking them to spare any taxpayer money they hadn’t yet given to Ukraine, giving an historic fourth address to Congress. The protest spread far and wide, causing clashes with police all over the city.
