Hans von Spakovsky: Biden never complained about SCOTUS term limits when Ruth Bader Ginsburg served

Heritage Foundation Senior Legal Fellow Hans von Spakovsky says President Joe Biden’s SCOTUS reform plan, including the measure to limit U.S. Supreme Court justices’ term limits to 18 years, would lead to instability in the law. “We would have more nominations, there would be more fights because every time there was a decision that the left didn’t like, the next time a nominee came up they would be working hard to get somebody who would overturn that decision,” he says.
