Protesters have blocked a major road in Abuja, Nigeria.

The #endbadgovernanceinnigeria protests were scheduled to kick off in 72 hours from 1 - 10 August 2024 from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The protest is earlier than expected with the main impetus from the north of the country. This does not bode well for Nigeria's government.
