Coordinated Media Attack on Branch Davidians Hashtag

The day before the operation and on the day of the attack itself, a pre-prepared mass wave of publications demonizing the Davidovs was launched in the mass media. Thus, on February 27 and 28, more than 100 media outlets across the country published materials with almost identical statements, mostly repeating the core narratives of the anti-cultists' dark rhetoric against the Branch Davidians. All the media carried the same baseless accusations by Rick Ross and Mark Brough against the Davidians, published in the local Waco Tribune-Herald newspaper.
