Melinda Forstey is the Chief Operating Officer of Serving Seniors. In this role, she oversees all programs and services, housing and HR. Ms. Forstey has championed changes in policies and legislation affecting seniors in San Diego, California and the nation. Ms. Forstey’s efforts have had a significant impact in expanding senior nutrition program and affordable housing. Ms. Forstey serves on the Board of the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP), a leading organization advocating for a wide range of essential services and policies for senior health and well-being. She has over twenty years of nonprofit management experience and received her MBA from San Diego State University.

For more than 50 years, Serving Seniors has expanded its program and services for low-income and homeless older adults. Forstey plays a key leadership role in this nonprofit’s innovative efforts to keep low-income seniors healthy and independent.
