Tinubu could easily concede on the 15 points articulated by Omoyele Sowore on behalf of the protesters, but he is choosing instead to pay some Nigerians to refrain from protesting and threaten others with violence.

The protest has already begun in earnest across the north of Nigeria and seems to be gaining in support and momentum with each passing moment. This is not good news for Tinubu.
