REVIEWING EACH CAMPSITE @ Arrow Forest Campground! | Lostine River Wallowa Whitman Eagle Cap Oregon

On July 12, 2024, I explored the Lostine River Zone in Wallowa Whitman National Forest on the edge of Eagle Cap Wilderness approaching from the North. I stopped at every piece of infrastructure in the area with a focus on Campgrounds and Hiking Trails.

This is Arrow Forest Campground, on the map it is after French Camp Log Cabin Shelter Picnic Area and before Shady Campground & Maxwell Lake Trailhead. There are 3 Campsites, all First Come, First Served. Campsites #1 & #2 are Serviceable but nothing special, neither a destination/goal Campsite. Campsite #3, however, is EPIC, outstanding shade and situated right up against clean, serene & pristine National Wild & Scenic Lostine River with a Private Side Trail to a small Shoreline Beach! This would be great for fishing or to simply swim and cool off on a hot summers day (of course do so at your own risk). In my opinion, Campsite #3 at Arrow Forest Campground is one of the very best Campsites in this entire Lostine River Camping Zone!
