Biden says Supreme Court’s ‘extreme opinions’ necessitate imposing new rules on justices

On Monday, President Joe Biden called for significant Supreme Court reforms and a constitutional amendment to limit presidential power.

Speaking at the Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library, Biden proposed ending presidential immunity from federal criminal charges, implementing 18-year term limits for Supreme Court justices, and enforcing strict ethics rules for the court, including financial disclosures and conflict-of-interest regulations.

These measures aim to restore trust in the judiciary and maintain democratic checks and balances, NBC News has reported.
