Buschra Al Zoubi, a Syrian refugee, escaped with her family in 2012 and transformed her life through sports. Inspired by Syrian Olympic swimmer Yusra Mardini, Buschra now represents resilience. Thirty-seven refugees, including athletes from South Sudan and Afghanistan, will compete in the Paris Olympics. The UN highlights that a record 120 million people are displaced globally, with increasing barriers in the US and Europe. The refugee team aims to raise awareness about the challenges refugees face.
