Chase West, a proud Houston/Katy native deeply immersed in the political landscape, presents himself as a candidate for Texas State Representative. His political journey began at a remarkably young age, as an 8-year-old engaging in school debates and closely following the unfolding events that shaped the state, country, and world. West cast his first vote at 18, savoring the empowering notion that his voice held significance in the democratic process. Unlike those who resort to personal attacks in political discourse, Chase possesses a unique ability to empathetically understand diverse perspectives, fostering friendships across party lines with Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents alike.

Beyond his political endeavors, Chase West's roots extend into the community. Starting his work life at 15 in a local carwash, he delved into the cultural tapestry by working as a fry cook at a Sonic. Faced with a language barrier, he dedicated himself to learning Spanish, gaining fluency in just three months. Engaging actively in the Katy High Theatre department, Journalism, and the Texas Academic Decathlon team during his teenage years, West's commitment to understanding and connecting with people has been a consistent thread throughout his life.

A 2000 graduate of Katy High School, Chase pursued studies at The University of Texas at Austin, The University of Houston, and Houston Community College, focusing on Advertising, Music, and Audio Engineering. A seasoned musician and songwriter, West's musical journey led him to a record deal in Nashville in 2015 and subsequently to the opening of a recording studio in Richmond, TX. While working in the finance department of a local telecom company, he continues to serve as the lead producer for his studio clients, showcasing his diverse skill set.

Chase West's candidacy is grounded in his extensive knowledge of the West Houston area, where he has resided for most of his life. Advocating for open communication between representatives and their constituents, he believes that voters deserve more than mere alignment of views; they deserve a representative who prioritizes their concerns, transcending political biases. West envisions a legislative approach where representatives vote in alignment with the wishes of their constituents, fostering a system that truly represents the will of the people.
