Tourists seek relief from soaring temperatures in Paris

Highs of 96.8 degrees Fahrenheit (36 degrees Celsius) are expected in Paris on Tuesday (July 30) as the world's best athletes compete in the Summer Games. Meteo France weather forecaster Christophe Calas said Paris 2024 "will take measures and has already taken measures" to mitigate the impact of the heat on the public and on athletes.
