The National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis featured a huge eucharistic procession on Day 4 of the event. Thousands took part in this historic procession and Congress, which was the first in 83 years.

Eucharistic processions unite Catholics in their love for the Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We march behind Jesus Christ our King, who is really present in the Eucharist and glorified with all the trappings and honors that the Church's traditional rites have to offer. More and more Catholics are determined to be a part of this tremendous witness of Faith.

LifeSiteNews offered a completely free event running parallel for those who could not afford to attend the Congress itself. This event featured Father James Altman and special guest Father Jeffrey Fasching, who spoke about the transformative power of Eucharistic devotion, the Mass as a sacrifice, Eucharistic miracles, and how reverence is the key to restoring Faith in the Eucharist.
