Posted • July 9, 2025: Oh boy, this intersects with many things from my past and present. A few years ago, I defended a pair of brothers who got into a fight on a golf course. It never would have been a “case" except for the county it was tried in. I got one brother off without a conviction but the other was convicted. Frankly, it was a minor altercation that should never have happened and it should not have been tried but a woman was inadvertently touched. Had it been just the “dudes” duking it out, no one would have pressed charges. And the last personal setup I will add is that the last fight I was in was a long time ago. I was with a little friend of mine. Little friend had a big mouth. He mouthed off to a guy in a car and that guy stopped and got out. I knew that my friend would cower, so I got out. Oops. I looked up at the other guy. He outweighed me by about 50 lbs and was about five inches taller. Fortunately, he was drunk. Really drunk. I got the best of him, but then his girlfriend got the best of me. She hit me in the jaw with my mouth open. I never again got into a fight because I reasoned that had that guy been sober, he likely would have ruined me. Ok, back to the golf course. Unlike the admonition in "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" where there are "no rules" in a knife fight, there are rules on a golf course. One basic rule is “pace of play.” Most courses are now equipped with a GPS and screens that tell you if you have fallen behind. Keep up with the group in front of you. Keeping “pace of play” is a cardinal rule. Even if your foursome has had too much to drink, you likely won’t be hassled by the group behind you - if you keep pace of play. But if you drink a lot and then putts-around, like you are the only people on the planet, don’t be surprised if someone asks you to pick up the pace, and get moving. If you then decide to be a massive jerk, hammer back another beer and tell the group behind you to screw off, and challenge the biggest guy in the group to a fight, you best be prepared for the “argument” and potential butt-whooping. A few days ago (allegedly), retired National Hockey League enforcer Nick Tarnasky was in a golf group behind a group of very bad golfers who were also very, very drunk. After a wait of “23 minutes,” Tarnasky’s group had had enough and demanded that the drunks get moving. That motivated one clown to challenge Tarnasky. Bad move all around. My wife just started planning a vacation for us in Ireland and Scotland next spring … we'll be sure to steer clear of social media so we don't get ourselves arrested. I wish I had more context for this video, such as when it was shot, but RadioGenoa is usually right on about things. I searched Google for news stories about a man being arrested for posting a meme of Pride flags forming a swastika — one I see all the time here on X — but whatever Google's AI is called told me that, "Yes, there have been instances of individuals being arrested for social media posts related to swastikas and LGBTQ+ pride flags." - "In August 2022," Google tells me, "an Irishman was arrested in England for reposting a picture showing a swastika made out of LGBTQ+ pride flags, according to The Irish Independent. "He was arrested for 'causing anxiety' with the post. This doesn't look like Ireland, so I'm pretty sure it's a different case. —— British police arrest elderly man for posting four LGBT flags in shape of a swastika on Facebook. —— How many cops did they send? Four? It isn't easy to count them all. The man says that all he wants is his freedom of speech. They don't have that in the United Kingdom. That's Laurence Fox in the gray suit jacket filming it. Pride, the new world religion. Protected by 'hate' laws, so loosely written, they can be interpreted in any way the authorities choose, should they want to go after you. Why do police in Britain always come with an army of officers to arrest the white elderly people for social media posts? They gotta be the weakest, softest bunch of pussies posing as police officers that I've ever seen. 👀 I’m beginning to believe that all the brave Brits went to America centuries ago and what’s left is a spineless bunch of losers. Who allows this shit to happen in their country? Do they need someone else to swoop in and save them again? I already knew that you couldn't even "criticize" migrants, but I didn't know the LGBTQ crowd got the same protection.

Vance gave a speech at the Munich Security Conference warning about the erosion of free speech, but he was right. Last week, the anchor’s 10 a.m. slot on the network was replaced with “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and Pamela Brown” due to the network’s schedule rearrangement. At the time, there was no official word on where Acosta would fit in, but the network apparently asked him to take on the graveyard shift with a midnight program just days before President Trump’s inauguration. The change in scheduling seemed to be a deal breaker and Acosta is now expected to leave CNN altogether, the Status newsletter and Fox News reported. Posted • December 12, 2024: A Chinese female tourist experienced a frightening incident on Sunday, 8th December, while traveling by train in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She fell from the carriage after leaning out of the window to take pictures, but fortunately, she sustained only minor injuries. According to social media footage, the tourist was holding onto the train door while extending her body outside to capture the scenery. She was unaware of her surroundings when a tree branch struck her on the head, causing her to tumble out of the carriage. Local media reported that she landed in a bush, and police confirmed that she only suffered scratches. They have since advised tourists to be mindful of safety while traveling.

Posted • November 10, 2024: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says officers “acted within policy to protect themselves and nearby fans” in two altercations that were caught on camera during Saturday’s Georgia-Florida game at EverBank Stadium. Jacksonville Sheriff TK Waters released body-camera footage and details regarding two fights that resulted in viral videos from the rivalry game nicknamed “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.” In the videos officers could be seen striking fans. One video shows officers struggling with two spectators in the stands. Surrounding fans could be heard screaming at officers to stop. A second video shows an argument between a man and two JSO officers escalate into a fight that left the man with his face bloodied and handcuffed after being shot repeatedly with a stun gun. Neither video showed circumstances that led to the confrontations. “In the first incident, the suspect was asked multiple times to leave and threatened the officers attempting to remove him,” the sheriff’s office said after a review on Monday. “The suspect later grabbed one officer’s firearm. In the second incident, three suspects were asked to leave due to aggressive behavior toward other fans. They then became combative with officers, with one individual grabbing an officer’s face and holding onto his service belt.” Waters said that in the first incident the suspect had directed a racist slur at one of the officers, who is Black. He added that footage of the second incident appeared to have been cut to make it “intentionally misleading.” Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan called the videos “disturbing.” - “While the use of force can appear intense, our investigation determined that the officers in both incidents acted within policy to protect themselves and nearby fans,” the sheriff’s office said. The Georgia-Florida game is notorious for its rowdiness, and Waters said the crowd at the weekend was particularly fiery. “This was a different game,” Waters said. “They’re not always like this. We had a horse punched in the face.” He added that six officers were injured at the game, eight people were arrested, and 35 fans were ejected.

Data shows that if you want to thank someone today for pulling America back from the brink of more Democrat malfeasance, you should thank a GenXer. I am a proud GenXer. I grew up running wild until the street lights came on, unsupervised, unchained, independent, and free. When I was seven years old, I would go get my four-year-old neighbor, and we would walk two blocks up and across a busy street to the White Hen to buy candy before heading to the park, where we played all day with no adults anywhere in sight. At a young age, I was left home alone and came home to an empty house when my parents were working. I learned to cook for myself, entertained myself, and never, EVER admitted I was bored, lest my mother assign chores. I was given specific lies to tell people who called asking for my parents when they weren’t home. “She’s in the shower. We might not have used that language in front of adults, but around the neighborhood, there wasn’t a kid who didn’t know every four-letter word out there. Some of us memorized the raunchiest parts of Eddie Murphy’s “RAW,” and I bet there are a few of you reading this right now who can rattle off George Carlin’s 7 dirty words. Words are just words. But it did give us the sense at an early stage of life that we were in survival mode and on borrowed time. We understood mortality, impermanence, and fear at a young age. The federal issue seems to have been solved Tuesday. Not only were the charges obviously bogus and brought by an arguably unconstitutionally appointed prosecutor, but the Department of Justice's policy is that it will not prosecute a sitting president.
