Diana Dirkby (an Author Pseudonym) shares her fascinating life story giving us a rare insight into her full life (she calls it ‘The Overlife’) & Schizophrenia. She has travelled & worked extensively & mentions knowing other fascinating people like the Australian Writer Roland Robertson ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roland_Robertson ) who was passionate about recording & preserving all the Australian Aboriginal indigenous languages & John Nash (leading character in Russell Crowe’s Movie “A Beautiful Mind”). She has written a ‘warts & all’ true story of her, & particularly her mother’s life, incorporating the journeys of Schizophrenia. Also showing aspects of her life not related to this in order to receive a fuller picture of her whole life.

Diana shares her first published novel, "The Overlife, A Tale Of Schizophrenia," though fiction, is based on authentic experiences of my mother and myself with paranoid schizophrenia. It is available on Amazon at https://a.co/d/1V0Uu8a

What is Schizophrenia? What was Diana & her mother’s experience with it exactly? How did she navigate this (& epilepsy)? How social rejection has been a big part of her journey with Schizophrenia. What were her life successes & experiences that were not focused on mental health issues? How Ageism is a key problem in Western Society. What is it like living part time in Alaska? Ultimately this book was written as a legacy & celebration of Diana’s precious & incredible person & mother which is so beautiful.
