Legal expert, Dr. Wael Munther, raised an objection today, Saturday, regarding the Ministry of Finance’s letter addressed to MP Amir Al-Maamouri regarding the “political parties’ grant.”

Munther told Al Jarida, “The Ministry of Finance’s address published on MP Amir Al Maamouri’s page is incorrect. The Ministry of Finance should have noted that Article (44/Second) of the Political Parties Law was previously issued by the Federal Supreme Court as unconstitutional in 2016, and therefore it is not applicable due to the lack of a law amending its provisions.”
