In and Out of Beaufort Under Sail; to Cape Hatteras | Ep. 259

I find myself racing into Beaufort ahead of an approaching southerly gale. At least the wind is fair for negotiating this rather tricky entrance, at least for a straight sailboat it is. Once the gale has cleared I use the following northwest wind to sail back out to the Cape Lookout Bight. From there I continue on toward Cape Hatteras and the Chesapeake Bay.
