The Whistleblowers | Chiquita Brands sentenced

A jury in Florida has found Chiquita Brands liable for various killings carried out by the United Self Defense Forces of Colombia, a right-wing paramilitary group the company financed during Colombia's civil conflict. Chiquita has been ordered to pay millions to more than a dozen family members of farmers and other civilians killed in separate incidents by the group between the late 1990's to early 2000's.
