Just one day later, director Gabriele Gysi and journalist Florian Warweg met with her for an interview. A conversation about, among other things, the foundations for an "uncompromising and honest" reappraisal of Corona policy, the declining interpretive sovereignty of the "leading media" and the massive political influence on the RKI proven by the leak and how, despite knowing better, the authority showed itself more and more obliging to politicians out of initially quite existing resistance to it. In the interview, Velázquez also presents numerous previously unquoted explosive excerpts from the RKI protocols.
