JESUS THE RIGHTEOUS, OUR JUSTIFIER, OUR HERO!

To be our Justifier, God/Jesus had to become one of us, a mere human

“But made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross.” Philippians 2: 78

KENOSIS: a voluntary act of the Eternal Son to set aside His heavenly privileges while here

Jesus took the form (“morphe”) of a bondservant (“dulos”) - His will consumed with Father’s will!

Jesus was “obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”

Can you say, OUR HERO !!!

We use the words “hero”, “amazing”, “awesome”, “incredible”, so casually

These are words we use to describe our JESUS!

He, alone, is amazing!

He, alone, JESUS! is awesome!!

He, alone, is incredible!!!

Jesus, in effect, threw Himself in front of the death bullet meant for me!

JESUS IS THE GREATEST HERO OF ALL TIME!!

Heroes are people who sacrifice to save a life.

Jesus rose after His sacrifice to save every life.

Never lose track of who Jesus is and what He heroically has done for you

This is the reason we call Him Owner of my soul!

JESUS IS MY HERO!

Salvation is wonderful and free !

Purchased for us by our hero, JESUS!!

GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY HE ALONE DESERVES!!
