RAW SALTED CARAMEL SHORTBREAD BARS ✨

RAISE your hand if you love shortbread but cannot eat them because you’re gluten and dairy free 🙋🏽‍♀️ These shortbread bars will genuinely make you fall in love. The contrast between salty and sweet is just chefs kiss

Base;
- 2 cups almond flour
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (if not vegan)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil

*put the base in the freezer to set while you make the caramel

Caramel;
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp coconut oil

*Melt all of this together using the double boiler method, then add on top of the base.
